About this resource
The Oregon Department of Education collaborates with local agencies to establish a comprehensive system of free services for young children experiencing developmental delays and disabilities, along with their families. This includes: -Early Intervention (EI): Tailored services for children from birth to three years old and support for parents aimed at improving children's physical, cognitive, communication, social-emotional, and adaptive skills; and -Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE): Specialized instruction for children aged 3 until they are eligible for public school, focusing on communication, cognitive, social/emotional, adaptive skills, and more.
Intake Process: Contact us for information and to set up an appointment.
Cost: No fees involved.
Who can use this
- Children aged 0-5 who are suspected of having developmental delays or disabilities can receive free screening and evaluation, with those confirmed eligible for EI/ECSE services.
