About this resource
This initiative provides educational and vocational training opportunities for young individuals aged 16 to 24. It includes services such as pre-employment training, Rethinking Careers Workshops, GED preparation, help with college applications, and financial aid guidance. Additionally, it assists in obtaining essential documents like ID cards, Social Security cards, and birth certificates. Parenting classes are also available for young parents, although childcare services are not provided at skill centers; however, vouchers may be offered.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call or visit the website to sign up for an orientation session. Attendance at this orientation, which explains the program's mission and objectives, is required before enrollment.
Travel/Location: The center is situated four blocks south of Nap's at the intersection of 5th and Main Street.
Fees: There are no fees associated with the program.
