Public health services are delivered by a nurse or nurse practitioner, encompassing annual gynecological examinations (such as pap smears, breast and pelvic evaluations), testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) for both genders, pregnancy testing along with counseling options for expectant mothers, health education (including guidance on breast and testicular self-exams), immunizations for children and adults, and maternal and child healthcare.
