About this resource
This program provides medical benefits via OHP for those needing treatment for breast or cervical cancer and lacking health insurance. Providers can refer individuals to the program by submitting a completed application to OHP. Typically, applications are processed by the following business day, and coverage under the Oregon Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCTP) starts on the day a provider confirms a cervical cancer diagnosis.
Cost: There are no fees associated.
Who can use this
- Individuals under 65 residing in Oregon who require treatment for breast or cervical cancer, lack minimum essential coverage, do not qualify for other Medicaid programs, have a household income at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), and have a diagnosis of breast or cervical cancer can apply, regardless of gender identity or expression.
