About this resource
Offers legal guidance on a range of subjects including family matters, divorce, custody, housing issues, eviction, homelessness, consumer rights, financial concerns, employment, unemployment, health and disability, civil rights, income maintenance, juvenile law, and education law. Additionally, it provides information on further legal resources. However, assistance with criminal law inquiries is not available. Attorneys are unable to contact participants, represent them in court, or handle paperwork on their behalf. Each participant is allowed a maximum of three legal inquiries per year, and not all questions are guaranteed a response.
Intake Procedure: Please visit the website. All inquiries and responses are conducted via email.
Fees: There are no charges for the first three legal questions each year. Costs for any additional services may vary.
Who can use this
- To qualify, applicants must be from a low-income household, be at least 18 years old and not incarcerated, and not currently have legal representation for their issue.
