Red Cross volunteers support families who have been affected by disasters by addressing their urgent needs for essentials such as food, clothing, medication replacement, and temporary shelter. This service is available in Grays Harbor.
Intake Procedure: Contact during office hours and, if possible, arrange an appointment with a caseworker. After a disaster, Red Cross emergency assistance can be accessed 24/7 by following the prompts during the phone call for after-hours support.
Fees: There are no charges for these services.
Who can use this
- Provides assistance to victims of natural disasters, including floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and fires, who cannot meet their immediate needs on their own. Services do not cover non-disaster-related requests like transportation, utilities, or rent.
