This service provides a list of domestic violence shelters along with their bed availability. It is important to note that not every shelter is included in this list, and access to these shelters is contingent on the availability of beds, which cannot be guaranteed. The agency does not keep waitlists and offers referrals for a Safety and Stabilization Assessment (SSA) necessary for accessing most direct domestic violence services.
Intake Procedure: You can obtain more information by calling, texting, emailing, or visiting the website, which also features real-time chat support. If you encounter a voicemail when calling, please leave your name, number, and confirm it is safe to return your call. The Safety and Stabilization Assessment (SSA) is conducted through the Gateway Center for Domestic Violence Services.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this service.
Who can use this
- Individuals who are survivors of domestic or sexual violence, stalking, sex trafficking, or those working in the sex industry, who need to escape a harmful situation and lack a safe overnight location are eligible, provided the violence occurred within the last six months.
