About this resource

Flexible Services, also known as 'flex funds,' are supplementary non-covered services that accompany the benefits of the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) through Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) aimed at enhancing care delivery and overall member health. The CCO determines eligibility for these services, which may include: -Housing assistance (such as rent and deposit help, utility payments, and housing programs for families) -Temporary motel accommodations (for individuals being released from hospitals, facing severe weather, awaiting a new home move-in, or escaping domestic violence) -Electronics like cellphones and computers -Educational resources and classes -Family and home support items (e.g., child safety products, parenting programs, household appliances, climate control devices) -Gym memberships and fitness classes/equipment -Health and substance use prevention resources. All services are evaluated individually by the CCO, and they are not meant for emergency situations. CCOs are not obligated to provide these flexible services, and since they are not considered covered benefits, denials cannot be appealed, though members can file a complaint if needed.

Intake Procedure: For more details, call or visit the website.

Fees: None.
