About this resource
This initiative provides legal assistance for eviction cases, subsidy terminations, and reasonable accommodation requests specifically for residents of King County. Individuals residing in Seattle must have an income at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI), while those living in other parts of King County must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).
Intake Process: To begin, call 206-580-0762 to request a texted intake form. If deemed appropriate, 2-1-1 will reach out to TLC, which will then get in touch with the household to assess the legal merits of their case. Eligible households will be arranged for a consultation with an attorney.
Cost: There are no fees for this service.
Who can use this
- Eligibility includes tenants in Seattle with incomes at or below 80% AMI and those in King County outside Seattle at or below 200% FPL, particularly focusing on vulnerable populations.
