About this resource
This initiative delivers classroom-based educational services for children between the ages of 2.9 and 5 years who have been evaluated and granted approval by the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) from their local community. According to each child's Individualized Education Plan (IEP), they may access rehabilitative therapies, nursing care, and counseling services. Additionally, there is a daycare option available for typically developing children. The Center serves as an authorized evaluation location for the Committee on Preschool Special Education, conducting assessments either on-site in Bayside or at the Roslyn location (St. Mary's Kids at Roslyn), as well as in the child's home. Who can use this
- Children need to have an IEP from their respective CPSEs that approves a center-based special education placement.
