About this resource

This initiative provides court-sanctioned parent education classes designed to inform parents about children's development in the context of divorce, the emotional repercussions of separation, the various developmental stages of children, and anticipated responses to divorce. It also equips parents with strategies to alleviate stress and assist children in coping, offers guidelines for minimizing conflicts and resolving custody matters outside of court, and helps identify when a child may require additional support and resources. Participants who successfully complete the program will be awarded a Certificate of Completion. Please note that childcare is not available.

Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should visit the website to fill out the online registration form, with a recommendation to register at least one month prior to the class.

Fees: The cost is $75 per individual, with a potential waiver available if the court has previously waived a filing fee for an ongoing domestic relations case before class registration. Online payment options are provided.
