About this resource
This program aids low-income Medicare recipients in managing their Medicare Part A and Part B premiums. Additionally, DSHS covers co-pays and deductibles for Medicare beneficiaries with very low income.
Application Process: You can apply by calling, visiting the website, or going to any Community Service Office (CSO).
Costs: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who are Medicare recipients and have incomes at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level qualify for maximum assistance. For Part B premium aid, the income must be at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Level, while Part A premium assistance is available for individuals with disabilities at 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
