This initiative is designed for high school juniors aspiring to enter the aerospace and advanced manufacturing fields. It is offered at no cost and includes a financial stipend. Upon finishing this two-year program, students will earn a credential in aerospace/advanced manufacturing.
Application Process: Interested individuals can reach out via email or phone to the Youth Program Manager, ensuring to include "YAP Applicant" in the subject line. It is necessary to provide the applicant's contact details in the email. A parent or guardian must be present to sign required releases and waivers for the student’s application to be completed. Additionally, a parent or guardian must attend an orientation session, bringing a photo ID and Social Security Card. Selection will occur through an interview and application process.
Costs: The program is free for eligible participants, who will also receive a stipend based on their attendance and engagement.
