About this resource
Climate Support is a health-related social need (HRSN) service offered by the Oregon Health Plan. These HRSN Climate Supports consist of devices aimed at safeguarding individuals during climate-related incidents. The covered devices are intended for use solely in the member's home or primary residence and may include: -Air conditioners, heaters, and air filters to maintain clean air and appropriate temperatures -Mini refrigerators to preserve medication during power outages -Portable power supplies to run medical equipment like ventilators in case of power failure. Members are eligible to receive HRSN climate services only once in their lifetime.

Who can use this
- Members of HealthShare/Providence CCO must meet specific criteria, including having a qualifying living situation, a health condition that complicates climate events, access to electricity, and the ability to safely use the device.
