Kepro
Community Resource
About this resource
This service assists Medicare recipients in swiftly addressing complaints or concerns regarding their medical care or services by contacting providers on their behalf.
Intake Process: For further details, please call. If eligible, a staff member will seek your consent to communicate your name and issue to your provider. They will inform the provider about the complaint and your desire to resolve it through Immediate Advocacy. Should the provider consent, KEPRO will initiate the process. If they decline, you have the option to submit a written complaint. KEPRO may conduct a conference call or reach out on your behalf to address the issue. The aim is to achieve a prompt and satisfactory resolution within eight hours, and no longer than two business days. If the provider is unavailable after you agree to use Immediate Advocacy, KEPRO will contact you to explore your options. If you are dissatisfied with the Immediate Advocacy outcome, you can submit a written complaint.
Cost: None.
