About this resource
This program offers emergency shelter for individuals affected by domestic violence, with or without children, in a secure and undisclosed location; it is open to survivors of any gender or non-binary identity. The service caters to those experiencing abuse in the home, even if it does not involve an intimate partner.
Intake Procedure: A safety assessment is the essential first step. Please contact the 24-hour helpline for assistance.
Fees: There are no charges for this service.
Who can use this
- Open to survivors of any gender or non-binary identity who are victims of domestic violence, with or without children, including those experiencing abuse in the home regardless of the relationship with the abuser. Trans* individuals are respected and addressed according to their preferred pronouns, and teens are considered on an individual basis. Various household compositions are accepted, including multi-generational families and couples, and those with criminal histories are welcome. Service animals are permitted.
