My Father'S House
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative provides transitional housing for families and individuals. Participants can engage in the Rent Well tenant education program, attend parenting and life-skills classes, and receive assistance from a case manager, which is a requirement for residents.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call and leave a message including their name, contact number, and family size.
Fees: A background check is mandatory at a cost of $15 per adult, along with an initial urinalysis fee of $20 per adult. A room deposit of $150 per adult is also required, which will be refunded if the resident leaves their room in good condition. Additionally, there is a class fee of $35 per adult and a Family Fund deposit, which requires 30% of all household income. This Family Fund will be allocated to landlords for expenses like rent or utilities and can be held for up to one year before being returned when residents exit the shelter.
