National Maternal Mental Health Hotline
Community Resource
About this resource
This hotline offers confidential support for pregnant women and new mothers in both English and Spanish. The journey of pregnancy and welcoming a new baby can evoke various emotions, and many women may experience feelings of being overwhelmed, sadness, anxiety, or fatigue at different stages. While these feelings can sometimes subside naturally, some women may find that if these emotions persist for over two weeks, they require professional help. You can reach a counselor by calling or texting 24/7, with responses typically within a few minutes. The service provides real-time assistance, information, and referrals to local and telehealth resources, as well as support groups. Language support is available through translation services in English and Spanish.
