About this resource
The National Safe Haven Alliance (NSHA) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing safe alternatives for parents experiencing crisis pregnancies. Their crisis hotline offers guidance and assistance to both parents and providers concerning the Safe Haven law, which includes information on Safe Surrender locations, adoption resources, and parenting support. Additionally, the NSHA provides resources aimed at preventing infant abandonment. The hotline is manned by trained social workers, nurses, and paramedics who are equipped to support and assist parents and providers effectively.
