Oregon Association Of Area Agencies On Aging And Disabilities
Community Resource
About this resource
The Oregon Association of Area Agencies on Aging and Disabilities (O4AD) consists of 18 Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) spread across Oregon. While O4AD does not directly serve the public, it champions programs, services, funding, and strategies aimed at benefiting older adults and individuals with disabilities. Local AAAs manage community services funded by the Older Americans Act and provide home and community-based services, including Oregon Project Independence. They offer case management for older adults and/or individuals with disabilities who are Medicaid clients in most urban regions, while the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) staff cover the remaining areas.
