Oregon Housing And Community Services
Community Resource
About this resource
This program offers help with both overdue rent and future rent payments for up to one month. It covers rental fees and security deposits, which may encompass pet fees, legal costs related to housing, partial payments aimed at alleviating housing debt, and application fees. Additionally, it provides utility assistance for services like electricity, gas, water, and sewage (paid directly to the landlord or utility provider), and can cover repair and damage expenses up to $2,500. However, assistance is not guaranteed and depends on available funding. A household is eligible to receive aid only once during the Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) biennium cycle (July 2025-June 2027).
