About this resource
This program provides a way for individuals to lodge complaints regarding mistreatment at healthcare facilities without resorting to the legal system, utilizing the Early Discussion and Resolution (EDR) process. Resolutions can involve apologies, answers to inquiries, enhancements in care, or financial compensation. Eligible incidents must have occurred in Oregon on or after July 1, 2014.

Who can use this
- Individuals (or their representatives) who have suffered serious physical injury or death due to care received at a healthcare facility or from a healthcare provider.
