This initiative provides a monthly reduction on phone or high-speed internet services. Qualified households can: -Receive a discount of up to $15.25 on their phone bill each month; -Obtain a discount of up to $19.25 on high-speed internet; or -Access complimentary data services. The discount amounts may vary. Federal and state laws restrict the Lifeline benefit to one individual per household for either phone or high-speed internet services.
Application Process: Interested individuals can apply by calling or visiting the website to learn about current discount service providers.
Location Accessibility: There are city bus stops nearby, and metered parking is available for visitors.
Fees: There are no associated fees.
Who can use this
- Adults aged 18 and older, or those with a household member receiving specific benefits, and whose household income is at or below 135 percent of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), may qualify.
Documents you may need
- None for those receiving SNAP or Medicaid. People receiving other qualifying benefits will find information for required documentation on the application.
