Politisit
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative provides financial reimbursement for childcare costs incurred by parents or guardians of minors who aim to participate in civic activities, including school board meetings, city council sessions, meetings with elected officials, advocacy training, PTA gatherings, voting, and other approved civic engagements. However, activities such as protests and marches are excluded. Participation must be voluntary and should not be linked to any job, internship, or employment obligations.
To apply, individuals should visit the website to fill out an application or reach out via email for further details. Applications are given priority based on the level of need and prior experience with civic engagement.
There are no associated fees; however, the scholarship is capped at $200 or 15 hours of childcare funding requests per month, whichever limit is reached first.
