About this resource
This program provides immediate support and safety for youth aged 12-17 who are experiencing a crisis. Young individuals can either call the hotline or visit a location marked with the Safe Place sign to seek assistance, which may include reconnecting with a parent or guardian or finding temporary shelter.
Intake Procedure: Youth can call or text the 24/7 hotline or go to a business, library, community center, or public bus that displays the yellow and black diamond-shaped Safe Place sign to ask for help.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this service.
Who can use this
- Youth aged 12-17 in crisis who need immediate support; young adults aged 18-24 are directed to Willows Youth Service Center.
