About this resource

This program provides essential assistance to individuals escaping domestic violence. It offers crisis intervention services such as emergency shelter, a crisis hotline, advocacy, therapeutic programs for children, and support groups. Additionally, it features self-sufficiency initiatives that include transitional housing, advocacy, information and referral services, and life skills training. Community education and educational resources are also provided. The program typically lasts for 60 days, with the possibility of extending up to 90 days.

Intake Procedure: -Contact for information -To access shelter, a safety and stabilization assessment must be conducted before entry. This assessment can be performed through the agency or in collaboration with other organizations (such as Call to Safety, Gateway Center, Raphael House, Bradley Angle, IRCO, NAYA, Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon, Volunteers of America, UNICA, YWCA). If the shelter reaches capacity, applicants are advised to call back, as there is no waitlist maintained.

Who can use this

  • Women, both single and those with children (male children must be under 18), who are fleeing domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking, intimate partner violence, or elder abuse.
