Trauma Intervention Program Nw
Community Resource
About this resource
Volunteers who are trained and screened provide both emotional and practical assistance to individuals and their families who are affected by traumatic incidents within the first few hours following such events. This includes making follow-up calls, providing information, and referring individuals to additional resources such as burial services, probate information, hazardous clean-up, and more. These volunteers are typically called to crisis scenes by police officers, firefighters, hospital staff, organizations, and schools after a traumatic occurrence.
Intake Procedure: For more details, please call or visit the website. While first responders usually initiate contact, the public is welcome to reach out directly.
Fees: There are no charges for this service.
