About this resource
This program offers support to homeless veterans in securing stable housing by covering initial costs such as the first month's rent, security deposits, broker fees, and application fees.
Who can use this
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old, be U.S. military veterans with an honorable discharge or a discharge under conditions other than dishonorable, have served a minimum of 180 days, and provide evidence of homelessness or the risk of becoming homeless.
Documents you may need
- Proof of honorable discharge or discharges under conditions other than dishonorable; Income Verification — Proof of income, benefits and/or housing voucher, if applicable; Proof of veteran status; Proof of housing crisis (eviction notice, foreclosure notice, etc.); Photo ID
