The initiative trains and employs individuals from the Black community to assist in navigating intricate healthcare systems, linking people to health insurance, managing and preventing chronic illnesses, and offering peer support services for those in recovery. It aims to enhance both individual and community capabilities by improving health literacy, enabling participants to advocate for their needs, and motivating them to voice their requirements for informed health decisions.
