This program recruits and evaluates families who wish to adopt children under the care of the Department of Children, Youth, and Families.
Intake Process: Please make a call. The intake line is available for collect calls.
Cost: There are no fees involved.
Who can use this
- There are no limitations for general adoption. For Special Needs Adoption: Families must have a child under 18, legally free (with terminated parental rights), who has special needs, is currently in state-funded foster care (or is likely to enter foster care), or qualifies for federal adoption assistance.
