This initiative supports Nevada’s communities by safeguarding the health, safety, and welfare of children in licensed child care facilities through a comprehensive database of all current state-licensed facilities. The website also features information regarding complaints about child care facilities. Starting July 1, 2024, all child care facilities in Washoe County will be licensed under the State of Nevada Division of Welfare and Supportive Services Child Care Licensing Program, promoting a standardized approach to child care licensing throughout the state.

To access the database, simply visit the website by entering findchildcare.nv.gov in your web browser. On the site, choose "Child Care Program" from the "Business Unit" drop-down menu located at the top left. Then, select "Agency" from the "Entity Type" drop-down menu at the top right. By clicking "Search," you will see a list of all licensed facilities in Nevada. For a more specific search by city, ZIP code, or county, click on "Address Information," input the desired geographic area, and then click "Search."
