About this resource
This service provides in-home assistance, encompassing tasks such as housekeeping, personal care, laundry, shopping, transportation, and meal preparation and delivery. It also includes adult day services, which are community-based programs that operate for part of the day and do not require residency. Registered nurse services are available for one-time or intermittent assessments, service planning, medication monitoring, provider training, and education. Additionally, case management and options counseling are offered to help individuals make informed decisions regarding services based on their strengths, needs, and preferences. The number of service hours provided varies according to assessed needs and available funding, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours each month. Importantly, benefits received will not be subject to estate recovery.
