Carbon County Head Start And Early Head Start

Parents collaborate with a Family Educator to create, prepare, and implement lesson plans during home visits that occur twice a month. Additionally, children have the chance to join a classroom environment with peers their age two days each week. A home visitor conducts weekly visits lasting 1.5 hours for prenatal mothers and families with children aged 0-3. EHS families participate in a socialization group twice monthly. By providing education and planning support, EHS covers all facets of parenting and child development, including health, nutrition, safety, movement and music, social and emotional growth, and the significance of the parent-child relationship.
