Huntington Head Start And Early Head Start

The Early Head Start Home-Based program involves a home visitor who conducts weekly visits lasting 1.5 hours for prenatal mothers and families with children from birth to age 3. Families in the program participate in a socialization group two times each month. The services and activities prioritize positive and nurturing interactions between parents and their children. Through educational support and planning, the program covers various aspects of parenting and child development, including health, nutrition, safety, movement and music, social and emotional growth, and the significance of the parent-child relationship.
