This program provides personalized assistance for individuals living in apartments and group homes with capacities ranging from one to eight residents. It emphasizes the cultivation of crucial life skills such as cooking, personal grooming, financial management, shopping, home upkeep, and community engagement through sports, recreation, transportation education, cultural activities, and ongoing learning. Funding is contingent upon availability.
Who can use this
- Eligibility requires a documented disability and is determined by the criteria set by the Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD). TURN assists individuals referred to and funded by DSPD, while families or clients interested in private payment for services can contact the office for details.
