Individuals in these programs reside in their own homes or apartments and require minimal assistance with their independent living and social skills to thrive in the community, contingent on funding.
Who can use this
- Eligibility requires a documented disability and is open to individuals of all ages who may have mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, or other developmental disabilities, as determined by the Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD). TURN accommodates individuals referred to and funded by DSPD, and families or clients interested in privately paying for support services can reach out to the office for further details.
