Every precinct features a drop-box located in its lobby specifically for the disposal of expired prescriptions and medications. Accepted items include over-the-counter drugs, prescription medications (including schedule II through V and controlled substances), as well as various dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, and patches. Who can use this
- Items that cannot be disposed of include illegal drugs, needles, lotions or liquids, inhalers, aerosol cans, thermometers, and hydrogen peroxide.
