The Mayor's Office of Criminal Justice Initiatives has developed an online Expungement Self Screening Tool designed to aid individuals in Salt Lake County who wish to clear their criminal records. When a record is expunged, it means that the court has sealed the case history, which encompasses all records related to the arrest, investigation, detention, and conviction, including any guilty verdicts or pleas.
