Since its establishment in 1925, Shriners Hospitals for Children—Salt Lake City has been committed to serving children across the region. We offer pediatric medical services in a nurturing, family-oriented atmosphere for children dealing with orthopedic issues related to bones, muscles, and joints. Our vibrant, welcoming hospital is designed to ensure that children with various orthopedic conditions can receive treatment, acquire new skills, and build friendships in a secure and encouraging environment. Each staff member—from surgeons and therapists to nurses and orthopedists—is focused on helping children attain the highest possible quality of life. The mission of Shriners Hospitals for Children includes providing top-notch care to children with neuromusculoskeletal disorders within a compassionate, family-centered collaborative environment; educating healthcare professionals; and conducting research to enhance care quality and life for children and their families. Our patient services encompass inpatient care, surgery, outpatient services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, radiology, nutritional counseling, social services, orthotics, casting, prosthetics, motion analysis, and a wheelchair seating program. Services are available in both English and Spanish.
