About this resource

Volunteers with experience help low-income families by preparing and electronically submitting their tax returns across the state. This service is available during the tax season, which runs from January 27, 2025, to April 15, 2025. Please note that not all forms and schedules can be processed at VITA locations. After April 15, weekly tax clinics are offered.

Who can use this

  • To qualify, household income must be below $70,000 annually, regardless of the number of individuals in the household.

Documents you may need

  • Proof of Insurance — Tax income and expense documentation including W-2's from all employers and education expenses for college; Social Security Card — Social security cards or individual tax identification numbers for the tax filer, their spouse, and all dependents.; Photo ID — Photo ID for the tax filer and the spouse, if applicable.
