About this resource
The program provides skills training aimed at fostering independence for adults with disabilities, featuring classes in areas such as cooking, assertiveness, relationships, financial management, and adjustment to disability. Additionally, participants can receive assistance in locating accessible housing, benefit from peer support, and engage in one-on-one work with staff members.
Who can use this
- Participants must be at least 18 years old, have a documented disability, and demonstrate that UILC's services will likely enhance their independence.
