This local nonprofit agency, which does not provide residential services, focuses on empowering individuals with disabilities to attain higher levels of independence by offering a range of services and activities that improve independent living skills. Additionally, it works to raise public awareness and foster understanding, accommodation, and acceptance of the rights, needs, and capabilities of these individuals.
Who can use this
- Individuals must have a documented disability; specifically, a physical or mental condition that hinders daily living activities, with a reasonable expectation that UILC's services will enhance their independence.
