About this resource
This program offers a peer and mentor support initiative for individuals with disabilities. Those with similar disabilities conduct training sessions on essential skills such as utilizing public transportation, managing budgets, and navigating resources. Additionally, a peer support specialist aids in the completion of applications for various services, including housing.
Who can use this
- Participants must be at least 18 years old and have a physical or mental disability that hinders daily living activities, with a reasonable expectation that UILC's services will enhance their independence.
