About this resource
This program offers online training that is required each year for daycare providers participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). The curriculum includes essential topics such as program approval requirements, addressing the needs of children with disabilities, safe food handling practices, identifying signs of child abuse, preventing shaken baby syndrome, understanding growth and development principles, recognizing homelessness indicators, preventing infectious diseases, preventing sudden infant death syndrome, and fostering cultural competencies.

- Participants must be licensed or certified daycare facilities or kinship care placements.
