Blanding Head Start And Early Head Start

The Early Head Start Home-Based program includes weekly visits of 1.5 hours from a home visitor to assist prenatal mothers and families with children from birth to age three. Families participate in a socialization group twice a month. The program emphasizes positive and nurturing interactions between parents and children, addressing various aspects of parenting and child development such as health, nutrition, safety, movement, music, social and emotional growth, and the significance of the parent-child relationship through education and planning.
