About this resource
This initiative allows low-income families to attain homeownership via a sweat equity program. Participants make a down payment and monthly mortgage contributions, which are directed into a revolving fund that finances the construction of homes for additional families.
Who can use this
- Eligibility is determined by financial need, payment capability, and a commitment to collaborate with Habitat. Financial need criteria include earning no more than 30-80% of the local median income and completing 200 hours of required sweat equity for each adult aged 18 and over.
