About this resource
This program offers a peer and mentor support system for individuals with disabilities. Participants receive skills training in areas such as public transportation, budgeting, and navigating resources from peers who share similar disabilities. Additionally, a peer support specialist helps with the completion of applications for various services, including housing.
Who can use this
- Participants must be at least 18 years old and have a physical or mental disability that hinders daily living activities, with the expectation that UILC's services will enhance their independence.
