About this resource
This program is designed for children aged 3-5 from low-income families or those with disabilities. It provides educational support along with health services to ensure that every child receives necessary immunizations, dental and physical examinations, and nutritional assistance.
Who can use this
- To qualify, applicants must meet one of the following criteria: have a family income at or below federal poverty guidelines, receive specific public assistance (such as TANF/FEP or SSI), apply for a foster child in DCFS custody, or be currently homeless. Additionally, Mountainland Head Start may accommodate a limited number of children with special needs who do not meet standard eligibility requirements.
