About this resource
Group homes offer support staff during the evening, morning, and overnight hours for individuals needing intensive medical or specialized assistance. These homes are found in Box Elder, Davis, Weber, Salt Lake, Utah, Iron, and Washington Counties. They provide supervised living arrangements in either apartments or small homes, ensuring up to 24-hour supervision and support. Additionally, Supported Community Living offers hourly assistance in the client's own residence, available in Provo, St George, and Cedar City. While Richfield lacks group homes, it does provide supported living options.
Who can use this
- Individuals must have a documented disability and the program serves adults with conditions such as mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, or other developmental disabilities, as determined by the Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD).
