About this resource
The WATCH program caters to individuals who are homeless or suffer from severe mental health conditions. It offers a range of services, including mental health pre-screening and assessments, individual and group therapy, targeted case management to connect clients with vital resources like Medicaid, Food Stamps, Social Security Disability, and housing assistance; outreach for the homeless; and medication management provided by a licensed prescriber and nurse. It is important to note that this is not a shelter.
Who can use this
- To be eligible for the program, individuals must have a serious and persistent mental illness, be homeless either literally or intermittently, show a willingness to tackle mental health issues and work towards sobriety, and either be uninsured or have Medicare or Medicaid. Following this, a comprehensive intake process will take place.
